Dalton celebrated his 9th birthday Monday with a friend party and dinner with our family. Monday was a teacher work day, so Dalton was able to have his friend party during the day. He had a "football" themed party. We went to Ultimate Indoor and played flag football with 14 of his friends. After, they had cake and ice cream and opened presents. He had so much fun!
For his birthday dinner, Dalton asked if we could go to Tempanyaki. We had the best cook who had the boys laughing so hard with his plastic little man that peed on them and the fire. They loved it!!
I can't believe Dalton is 9! He is such a good kid who is so kind to his sister. He has a great imagination and is so fun to play with. He loves to stay up late and wait for me to come home from work. I love it because it is the best time for us to talk and I even get good hugs! Dalton has a great laugh and and loves to imitate characters in the movies. He likes basketball, football and baseball. Him and his friends love sports trivia and sports trading cards.

Ty playing catcher
Celebrating their win!
We had a great time in St. George and enjoyed the high 70's/low 80's while we were there. Grandma and Grandpa Oborn, Allie and her kids, Grandpa Mont and Grandma Debbie, and Tonya and her family all came to the games to cheer Ty on. Grandma and Grandpa Oborn even took Dalton to Zions National Park on Thursday. He and Grandpa Oborn did a little hiking and had a great time!! The place we stayed (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Oborn) had a nice pool and a sport court, so the boys were in heaven. We left Kate at home with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson and she thought that was fabulous!! Thanks to Scott and Sue, Mom was able to just sit and watch baseball without any distractions. It was so nice!!

- Greg has been asking Kate what she wants to be when she grows up. She quickly answers 3 things. "I want to be a walker across the street, a bike rider and a lemonade stand (operator)". Very ambitious, huh?
- She loves to ask Greg and I how much we love her. She then says something like "I love you up to the Moon. I win, you lose! Yes!"
- After going through a Barney phase recently, she announced; "Barney said you have to love your family. I love my Mom, my Dad, Dalton and I'm trying to love Ty." We all bursted out laughing because it is soo true - they struggle a bit!
- Kate loves to go out to eat (hmmm..I wonder who started that!). Whenever we're out and about, she asks if we can go to the "lunchstraunt".
Ty's Team (He's #5)
Dalton's Team (He's #30)
Ty's team ended their season undefeated! They went to the County playoffs and made it to the second round. They did awesome considering it was their first year together! Unfortunately, my camera is not good at action shots so I don't have any fabulous pics! As for Kate, she keeps asking when we are going to a "grass" ballgame. She does not care for these indoor sports!
She won't have long to wait because Ty starts his baseball season in St. George next week!
