WHAT A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
The Wilson family had a very Merry Christmas this year!! We started the holiday by participating in some "Secret Santa" families along with other employees at the Timbermine. The kids were able to participate by delivering gifts and had a great time doing so.
On Tuesday, we had dinner with Grandpa Mont and Grandma Debbie. The kids love going to their house and Mom had fun catching up with Lindsay. Mont and Debbie always make special time to spend with us and we love it!!
As tradition goes, we spent Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Oborn's. We don't see my brothers and sisters enough, so I love spending time with them on this special night. The cousins had so much fun playing with each other and performing a short nativity (one wise man short). Grandma and Grandpa Oborn planned a fun night with lots of yummy food!

We always go to Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's on Christmas morning. We have a great breakfast and just hang out and play with the new toys. Mom and Dad get to relax and recover from all the excitement. This year, all of the families were there at the same time which made it really fun!!
After Christmas we made a quick trip to Bear Lake and stayed overnight with Bobbie and Cody. The kids had fun sledding and being pulled by the 4-wheeler. On the way home we stopped at Hardware Ranch and took a sleigh ride with the elk. The boys thought that was pretty cool, although when it was over Dalton asked me where we were going to go sledding. I told him we were going on a sleigh ride (meaning the horse would pull us) and he thought I meant sledding down a hill with the elk around. I think he was a bit disappointed.

This One Is For You Jeni!!
I've always bragged about not having a kid that wrote on walls, destroyed carpet or cut hair but now my darling sweet daughter has made up for them all! She cut her hair at two, started writing on her furniture recently and tonight we experienced "painting". Kate came into the kitchen and told me she was ready for bed. For a moment I thought about how lucky I was and that I could possibly get some extra sleep tonight, but when I turned around and looked into her sweet face I saw white splatters on it. Then she said , "I want to go to bed, but don't look at my hands, okay?" I remained calm and asked about the white stuff that was on her face and arms. "What is it?" "Where did you get it?" She didn't know what I was talking about, but kept her arms folded to hide her hands. After much convincing, she finally brought out the culprit - a small white can of paint - also known as White Out ! She explained she only got a little on the carpet, cuz it "plattered" when she opened it. It's funny how if it was my first child I would have nearly beat them, but with the last child she gets her picture taken and talked to about never painting with that cute little bottle again. Jeni will appreciate this once since her son painted the couch with her cute little paint bottle that is not water soluble. Wow!!
RoCK oF LoVe
Greg and I are not fans of the "Rock of Love" show, but Ben and Angie invited us to see Bret Michaels (formerly of the band Poison) in concert. We braved some terrible weather to make it to the concert in Wendover and bring back some 80's memories!! Most people at the concert looked like they hadn't changed too much since the glory days of Poison. So, in honor of Bret Michels I have posted some of our favorites on my playlist for all of you to enjoy. ROCK ON!!

Kate had her second Kindermusik Christmas party this week. She has so much fun doing the "cookie" walk, but didn't care too much for Santa coming to the party. Kate takes Kindermusik with her friend Payton (Kelly's daughter). We are so lucky to have Miss Susan as a teacher - we LOVE her!!

SaNTa ClAuSe Is CoMiNg To ToWN
We had a fun night Saturday at the Willard Bay Christmas Lights. Lots of cool lights, "real" reindeer, a hay ride and Santa Clause! We took Grandma Sue and Jessie (cousin) along and had a great time. Ty got stage fright when Santa asked what he wanted and he couldn't think of a thing. He did make a "pinkie promise" with Santa to try hard not to talk back to Mom, so I made sure and get a picture of that! Kate keeps telling me she doesn't want presents from Santa, but I think it's because I keep telling her she has to be good in order for him to come. Never mind Santa then, my Dad will just give me some! Dalton was convinced it was the real Santa (not a helper) because he knew Grandma Sue by name and where she used to work. I think he's right!

I am officially a blogger. Thanks to my friend Amy, I have set up my blog and hope I can keep it up on my own. I hope I can stay in touch with everyone a bit easier and share the "moments" in our family. Happy holidays to all of you! Love, Staci

Thanksgiving 2008

This is a rare picture of all three of the kids. The boys are just like their Dad when it comes to pics- they hate them! So, for all of you who wonder if we really have boys because all you ever see are pics of Kate.....here they are. Pretty cute when I can get them to hold still for a minute and smile. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Oborn's this year and had a great time. Thank you Grandma for a yummy dinner!
