Spring Training
After the Easter Day festivities, Kate was anxious to get out to the batting cage with Greg. She is very serious about it and told me it makes her really mad when she misses the ball! I would say she has Greg's personality - she is definitely competitive!
Kate spends so much time at her brothers games and is really good about it. She has a lot of ballgame friends and she is so excited for the "grass" ballgames to officially begin!

Plain City Elementary 4th Grade program
This week, Dalton 's grade performed their Utah State fourth grade play. Dalton was the "head" stage crew guy and totally loved it! Preston (our cousin) was the hero sheriff. They were all really cute and did a great job!

easter 2010

About six months ago, Kate informed us that Easter was her favorite holiday because you get presents AND candy! Wow, that's a lot to live up to and to think I was focusing on Christmas! We did all the traditional Easter activities - colored eggs and went to a Egg Hunt. Easter morning was so much fun because Kate just squealed with excitement every time she found an egg!
We had a fun party at the Oborn's and the Wilson's. The kids have so much fun playing with their cousins! We ate a lot of good food and more than enough candy! Kate only had her Easter dress on a few minutes and then played dress-up at Grandma's. Oh well!

Dalton celebrated his 10th birthday with a double party for him and Jake. They invited LOTS of kids to the Peak Gym. My camera died right after we arrived so I didn't get pictures of all the fun. They climbed a rock wall and jumped into the pit when they got to the top. They had rope swings and trampolines. They played a very competitive dodge ball game and ate pizza. After lots of food, fun and gifts, they headed off to another party for their friend Tyson. What a great night!
I cannot believe Dalton is ten. He is such a nice kid and a great brother. He has a great sense of humor! He is so fun to hang out with!

Wrestling
I just found this pic from Wrestling season and wanted to make sure and post . Dalton got back into wrestling this year and really liked it! I hope he will continue because Dalton is perfect for this sport! He is so tiny, but so strong!

Plain City Elementary 5th Grade Program

The 5th grade at PCE had their traditional program last month. Mr. Keefer taught the kids to dance and the Ty had so much fun learning some moves! It was a 50's theme - the kids looked so cute! At the end, they chose someone from the audience to dance with. Ty chose Kate and they had so much fun! I was so proud of Ty for giving the dancing a chance - he really liked it!

BASEBALL HAS BEGUN!!!!
Ty's team played in the first baseball tournament of the year in St. George this past weekend. They were a bit rusty from the Winter, but they had a good time. Ty is still playing for Shock Baseball (formerly Weber). The coaches are great and he loves the boys he plays with. They will be playing 4 games a week soon!

The weather in St. George was not too great, but we managed to hit the park one day, swim and watch a lot of ball from the car. The boys even got to sleep over with Carson one night! Kate has been so excited for baseball season to start - she says she wants "grass games"!! She doesn't care much for basketball!
BASKETBALL 2010
Dalton's team took second place at County! Go Plain City!

Ty's team had a great year with a undefeated regular season! He loves to play!

wInTeR 2010
The boys have had such a fun winter skiing this year. Ty is a skier and Dalton is a boarder. Ty had the Utah 5th Grade Passport, so he was able to for free! It was great! Ty and his best friend Kade went a lot together and had such a great time.
Dalton got a snowboard for an early Birthday present - I can't believe how well he does already! I have taken them a few times and they are already better than me! I was so grateful to get through the ski season with no broken bones for any of us!!

I think it's time we pay a formal tribute to Dalton's home away from home...the Douglas'! Dalton spends countless days and overnights at the Douglas' where he is very much loved!! Dalton's cousin Preston spends a lot of time there too! Wendy, Troy, Jazz and Jake are so much fun. Thanks for everything you do for Dalton! We love you guys! (Especially Kate)

This is Dalton, Preston and Jake at the Douglas' New Years Eve Extravaganza!!
