Memorial Day Tournament
Ty's team participated in the Memorial Day baseball tournament held down in Utah County. It was turning out to be a not so great tournament and we were dreading playing Team Rock - the team Ty used to play for and the team his best friend is on! They are a great team and feared by many!!!
Ty's team had the best game and pulled out a 8-5 win over Team Rock! It was definitely a highlight in their season. Good job Shock!

Preschool Graduation
Kate had her Preschool Graduation the end of May. We were all so excited to attend and see if she would REALLY participate. She kept saying she would but we were pretty skeptical after the Christmas program!
She did it! She sang all the songs and did the actions too! They performed a program called "See You Later, Alligator" which reviewed all the concepts they learned throughout the year. They were all so cute! She will go another year of Preschool (she misses the school deadline by a few days), but I am really excited for her to be the oldest. She is very smart and loves to learn. Miss Amy has been a great teacher! She has had so much fun having Payton is her class (Kelly's daughter).
Kate received a few special graduation gifts from her Grandma's and even Payton's Grandma. She had a great day!

RV'in With Grandpa Mont
Grandpa Mont and Granddma Debbie asked if Dalton could come up to Crystal Hot Springs with them and camp in the RV. Dalton had a game so I took him up there after the game. Kate and I swam with them, then left him for the night. On the way home they visited the Golden Spike Visitors area. The kids love riding in the RV, so they don't care where they go as long as they can ride in the RV! Dalton had a lot of fun with Jerica and Grandma and Grandpa.

Plain City Awards Assembly
This has been a great year at Plain City Elementary. The boys both really liked their teachers and had some great field trips.
Ty's favorite teacher was Mrs. Simonson and his favorite field trip was to Willard Bay. They rode their bikes all the way there! Ty received the athletic award this year. He was really excited!

Dalton was lucky enough to go to the Environmental Center twice this year! Grandpa Scott went once and Grandpa Oborn went the second time! They had a great time! Dalton received the Science award.

I am so proud of both of them and the good job they do in school. They both have great friends!

Mothers Day
For Mothers Day this year, Allie and I took our Mom to breakfast earlier in the week. We had a good time and were able to visit without children.
On Mothers Day, we had a big Mothers Day breakfast at the house with our old neighbors. Greg, Sandy and Cody cooked a great breakfast. After, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's. It was a beautiful day and the kids flew kites and played with their cousins. Ty's kite got away from him and we had a funny experience getting it out of Kelly's tree. Sue will hate me for saying this, but we have laughed about Sue's temper. HAHA By the way, I did not forget about my middle child - he was refusing pics that day!

It was a nice day!
Pocatello, Idaho Tournament
The boys both played in the Pocatello, ID baseball tournament. Neither teams played too great, but we stayed with some friends of ours and had a good time. They had the coolest dog! The weather was okay which is more than you can hope for an Idaho tourament!

Spring Training
After the Easter Day festivities, Kate was anxious to get out to the batting cage with Greg. She is very serious about it and told me it makes her really mad when she misses the ball! I would say she has Greg's personality - she is definitely competitive!
Kate spends so much time at her brothers games and is really good about it. She has a lot of ballgame friends and she is so excited for the "grass" ballgames to officially begin!

Plain City Elementary 4th Grade program
This week, Dalton 's grade performed their Utah State fourth grade play. Dalton was the "head" stage crew guy and totally loved it! Preston (our cousin) was the hero sheriff. They were all really cute and did a great job!

easter 2010

About six months ago, Kate informed us that Easter was her favorite holiday because you get presents AND candy! Wow, that's a lot to live up to and to think I was focusing on Christmas! We did all the traditional Easter activities - colored eggs and went to a Egg Hunt. Easter morning was so much fun because Kate just squealed with excitement every time she found an egg!
We had a fun party at the Oborn's and the Wilson's. The kids have so much fun playing with their cousins! We ate a lot of good food and more than enough candy! Kate only had her Easter dress on a few minutes and then played dress-up at Grandma's. Oh well!

dAlToN's DoUbLe DigIt dOuBle pArTy

Dalton celebrated his 10th birthday with a double party for him and Jake. They invited LOTS of kids to the Peak Gym. My camera died right after we arrived so I didn't get pictures of all the fun. They climbed a rock wall and jumped into the pit when they got to the top. They had rope swings and trampolines. They played a very competitive dodge ball game and ate pizza. After lots of food, fun and gifts, they headed off to another party for their friend Tyson. What a great night!
I cannot believe Dalton is ten. He is such a nice kid and a great brother. He has a great sense of humor! He is so fun to hang out with!
